Today, let’s take a trip (with our imagination) to Venezuela, a beautiful country in South America—just like Ecuador!

🌍 Where is Venezuela?

Venezuela is in northern South America. It has the Caribbean Sea to the north, to the south it is limited by Colombia and Brazil, and it has big mountains, forests, and rivers—just like Ecuador!

🏞️ Nature and Places

• Venezuela has the Angel Falls, the tallest waterfall in the world!

• In Venezuela, there are Tepuis, the oldest mountains in the world.

• It also has beaches, jungles, and mountains, like the Andes. Did you know that in Venezuela, the Andes start or finish?

• Ecuador has Galápagos Islands and the Amazon rainforest too. Nature is important in both countries!

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 People and Traditions

• Venezuelans are friendly and love to dance, sing, and spend time with family—just like Ecuadorians!

• One popular dance is Joropo, with fast music, played with harpa, cuatro, and maracas.

• In Ecuador, people dance to Sanjuanito and Bomba!

🍽️ Food Time!

• In Venezuela, kids love arepas—cornbread stuffed with cheese, meat, eggs or any other thing that they like.

• The national dish of Venezuela is "El Pabellón", it has shredded meat, white rice, black beans, and fried plantain.

• In Ecuador, we eat bolón, llapingachos, and humitas—yum!

• Both countries enjoy fresh fruits, juices, and rice with meat.

• Venezuelans celebrate Carnival with colors, music, and parades.

• Ecuadorians love Carnaval too—with water fights and foam!

• Both countries have Independence Day parties and Christmas traditions.
